There are estimates that thousands and thousands are dead in New Orleans, and people are worried about looting?

Get the fuck outta here.

Those people have family floating dead in the street and homes that have been washed away.

Check out Kanye West ditching the teleprompter on this RedCross fundraiser and saying whats really on his mind: http://www.pixelmd.com/kanye.html

and listen to the mayor of New Orleans keeping it real: http://graphics8.nytimes.com/packages/audio/national/NAGIN_AUDIO.mp3

OMG

I HAD THE WEIRDEST DREAM.. from around 6:00pm to about 7:00pm.. about this girl in the Wellesley 09 community today! IT WAS SO FREAKIN' HOT TOO... omg. I can't believe it. I can't say what happened, or who it was about, because it would really creep her out! LOL. I've never met this person, and I don't think we've even ever chatted online! LOL this is too funny. omg. maybe I'll post some details later.. just so I don't forget. It was so vivid!

I was really disappointed to wake up....

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO

EDIT: Okay, how can I tactfully describe this dream. I took my friends only lock off for just this post, so I have to be safe. lol. okay, so this Wellesley 09er and I were in a car, on a roadtrip together. I picked her up, I think driving the car I drive in real life, and I had a family member in the back seat.

We were just having a normal drive. We were playing the stereo pretty loud and on an interstate, so the family member in the back seat couldn't really hear what we were talking about. We were just talking about fun things you usually talk about on a road trip, you know!? Then all of the sudden, she started whispering other things in my ear like, "I think you are pretty.. I'm attracted to you". So then the dream got totally out of control. LOL. So bizarre. At first, I really didn't understand what she was saying to me. And then even when I did know exactly what she was saying to me, I wasn't sure how to respond!

So finally we get to our destination, which is some sort of lacrosse camp in this woman's garage. So now this girl keeps saying all these things to me, and I'm just kind of standing there, and she keeps trying to brush up against me during the lesson, but in a really discreet way so my family member doesn't notice. That's when I think I woke up.

I WAS BEWILDERED bc I clearly knew exactly who this person was from livejournal and myspace, and only through those two venues! Someone please decode this dream for me!

"Under the spell of moonlight, music, flowers, or the cut and smell of a good tweed, I sometimes feel the divine urge for an hour, a day, or maybe a week. Then it is gone, and my interest returns to corn pone and mustard greens, or rubbing a paragraph with a soft cloth. Then my ex-sharer of a mood calls up in a fevered voice and reminds me of every silly thing I said, and eggs me on to say them all over again. It is the third presentation of turkey hash after Christmas. It is asking me to be a seven-sided liar. Accuses me of being faithless and inconsistent if I don't. There is no inconsistency there. I was sincere for the moment in which I said the things. It is strictly a matter of time. It was true for the moment, but the next day or the next week is not that moment..."

from Dust Tracks on a Road by Zora Neale Hurston

deep. what do you think?

key event in my day.. through song

well.. I haven't updated for a while.. but, when I saw the Wesley Willis song generator, I knew I had to break the cycle. I just think this is hilarious. Wesley Willis is great-- RIP. I was listening to a few of his classic joints such as "Rock and Roll McDonalds" and "I Whupped Batman's Ass" and recounting the day's activities. Well, after my lacrosse game, which we won, I was on my home and got stuck at a red light at a major intersection. There was a gas station to the right with the hottest looking baby blue VW Jetta with matching steering wheel and rims and this real cute black chick rapping to herself and waiting to merge. But like I said this a huge intersection, so the line of cars in the lane she's gotta enter will be tremendous in a moment and the wait to get over will probably be another cycle of lights. SO, being the wonderfully caring young woman that I am, I throw my car in reverse right quick to create a little space for her to go ahead and get infront of me. Well, this is the type of vehicular courtesy you just don't see everyday. You'd think she'd be grateful... Let me tell YOU, she was not! She swerved out infront of me and sped through the opening I'd created and got into the lane beside me which I thought was a pretty dangerous manuever and totally unneccessary! That cute girl didn't even smile at this cute girl to thank her for the deed. This prompted me to conjure Wesley Willis' retired mojo and produce this little ditty for y'alls enjoyment. :)

"the girl in the blue jetta that didn't smile at me"

by Wesley Willis

the girl in the blue jetta that didn't smile at me is excellent.
You make the joyride music.
the girl in the blue jetta that didn't smile at me really whoops a camel's ass.
You are the disappointment king.

THE GIRL IN THE BLUE JETTA THAT DIDN'T SMILE AT ME!!!
THE GIRL IN THE BLUE JETTA THAT DIDN'T SMILE AT ME!!!
THE GIRL IN THE BLUE JETTA THAT DIDN'T SMILE AT ME!!!
THE GIRL IN THE BLUE JETTA THAT DIDN'T SMILE AT ME!!!

You really whoop the horse's ass.
You really whoop a snow lepoard's ass.
You can really get in the groove.
You can really get in the groove.

You are my special disappointment.
I like the girl in the blue jetta that didn't smile at me a lot.
Right on brother.
the girl in the blue jetta that didn't smile at me is very special to me.

Rock over London,
Rock on Chicago.

Pontiac - we build excitement.

LMAO

oh baby, i don't want to know

ummm.. Mario Winans and P. Diddy, "Don't Wanna Know" is wack. Emo ass song. Is that the theme song for weak males and females or what cuz, that's really wack. Grow some nuts.

"If you're playing me, keep it on the low.. If you're creeping, please don't let it show.."

Like that is really ridiculous.. P. Diddy's verse has a semblance of self respect and keeping it real, but, not so much.

I mean god damn, really, if I think someone is playing me, and it has happened-- once, I'm like peace out, chick. ya know?

But in other news, how does STACEY DASH look sooo good in the "All Falls Down" video and she is 38!!!!!? OMG.

mother and daughter sharing an important moment

lots of classmates at my private high school have a [slightly] older, father or stepfather and a young, attractive mother or stepmother. it's so common that's in not really suprising at all.

the other day, i was waiting to pick up a frosh girl on my basketball team to take her to a team get together. she was having some type of heated discussion with her mom. it was not particularly interesting, since girls her age are always having some dumb shit drama.

she says,
"mom, she was being so gay about everything. i couldn't even talk to her."

mom replys,
"what have i taught you about being upfront with people? you need to talk to her. you ARE being gay."

i was like omg.. i didn't want to bust out laughing because they were being so fucking sincere. but that is seriously some of the funniest shit i've overheard. how extremely homosexual is that?

that's all i had to say.. i got nothing

that mp3 thing

Step 1: Open your itunes/musicmatch/whatever you use to play MP3s
Step 2: Put all of your music on random.
Step 3: Write down the first fifteen songs it plays, no matter how embarrassing.

1. "Me Against the Music" Britney Spears ft. Madonna
2. "Kiss Me Fool" Fefe Dobson
3. "Splash Waterfalls" Ludacris
4. "Ride Wit Ya" Joe ft. G-Unit
5. "Tipsy" J-Kwon
6. "Gimme" Jill Scott
7. "Sweet Misery" Amel Larrieux
8. "Best of Me" Jay Z and Mya
9. "American Pie" Madonna
10. "32 Flavors" Ani Difranco
11. "I'm Too Sexy" Right Said Fred
12. "Harder to Breathe" Maroon 5
13. "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" Al Green
14. "We Don't Need No Education" Pink Floyd
15. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" Nirvana

interesting.
I am going to go watch American Beauty now. I'm sad that Spring Break will be over Tuesday. I guess it was semi-productive. Sigh, not really. At least the final 9 weeks of school will be slack because of AP exams and Lax.

where is my dog

my dog ran away from home today. so strange, we usually let him out into the garage in the mornings to do his thing, but today we let him out the back door. opened the door to let him back in and he was nowhere to be found. i got him as a present on my 8th birthday... he's old, and chubby, so he doesn't run so much. he goes outside often and never even goes past the driveway. i drove around my neighborhood looking for him for hours. truly bizarre. i don't understand why he would just leave. i have to make fliers and put up signs tomorrow. i hope we find him.
